Experience: I have been in education for 9 years with 20+ years’ experience in corporate America.
Why I Teach: I teach because reading is the foundation of education. There isn’t an activity, career or job that does not require reading. My goal is to change the fixed mindset that reading is ‘boring’ to a growth mindset that reading is not boring or punishment rather, it is an opportunity to continue learning.
Fun Facts: I was the mascot and voted/won class clown! Scuba diving is my jam. I’ve zipped lined in the jungle and if I never do it again, I’ll be okay! This wouldn’t be fun facts if I didn’t include reading, my love for books, bookstores and traveling.

I am still the head director at Trimble Tech High School and this is my first year at Daggett Montessori.
