Students who participate in the cast or crew of any production at Daggett Montessori are a part of The Dragon's Tale Players. We typically produce three plays a year (Fall, Spring and a Winter one-act play for UIL competition). Open auditions are held for each show and the rehearsal process is typcically 6 weeks. In addition, 7th and 8th grade theatre students are elligible to audition for the Dragon's Tale Players Improve Troupe, which competes in a regional competition called the Dionysia Festival each November. At the end of the year we hold a theatre banquet and awards ceremony where we share a meal, celebrate our hard work, and find out who was awarded BEST COSTUME or FUNNIEST LINE.
